I love this picture because I think it captures the idea of the world being made up of many different cultures. I think this would be an awesome lesson to teach and this picture sets the stage for the lesson. I think it would be really beneficial for a social studies lesson and I really think acknowledging the variety of cultures is something that needs to be taught from an early age and not ignored, as some teachers decide to do.
